I feel like he is jumping at us, but his foreshortening says otherwise. I think you flattened him out a little. (I do this ALL the time! GRR!) Also, the sword would be in a different angle in the hand (on its center axis)and the tangent between it and the edge of the page is distracting. I think his mustache is something you should try for again! :)
Adding some stretch marks to his clothing might help emphasize his pose a bit more. Face is great. Bottom right shoe could be tilted in a little to the left to help that silhouette just a tiny bit, shape wise.
