Figure drawing sample from this weekend.

Model pose from this weekend's figure drawing session. I think I'm gonna step up the value a bit and try to work outside of my comfort zone next week. And my doodle of my Drow Storm Sorcerer... :P

Viking WIP

I watched How To Train Your Dragon last night and that put me in the mood to bust out a Viking.

I need to do more figure drawing....

Ron's Figure Drawing 3-27-10

Had a wonky eye issue with this one. A bit rusty since it's been a few weeks since the last session. But I like where the illustrative style was going. I'll be studying up on some structure, but I'm also really interested in trying to simplify and stylize it now.

This was about a 20 min pose. Again a bit of a proportion issue as I was making a gesture and then laying in more solid forms without refining as much as I should have. The face came out relatively nice in this one though.

And break doodles...

Today's memory sketch

Wonky legs! Gotta fix em. :P

Breaking the seal...

I seem to have a thing for curving men's butts in these first two. Odd.
