I picked up a Dixon china marker for some of these. I really like the line quality it produces. Very smooth and doesn't catch on the paper like charcoal, yet just as dark. Great for linework. :)

Another Viking Update

Hey guys and gals. I haven't had much time to work on this guy this week but I thought I should post an update to get some feedback.

Last gesture...

Last one from that session.

Gestures!!! I got a few for ya, punks!

After literally not doing a single gesture since 05 I came in 3 for 6. We did six, three minute gestures and I am pleased with three of them. The other three look like my turds fell on the paper and were then kicked around a bit. In any event, this is what happens when you don't do gestures for almost 5 years. Damn, thats a long time.
